The task was to level the floor in the entrance hall and kitchen, to install large porcelain tiles (600 mm x 600 mm), and to make tile skirting. We had four quotes from companies but it looked like buying a pig in a poke. Gary appeared to be exactly the one we needed: professional and trustworthy. He was not afraid to be challenged by questions and suggestions while doing tiling thoroughly and on time. The result is great, and we recommend Gary for any job he would be willing to undertake.

Doesn't deserve a star. Everything was as planned for catlin to arrive 5pm and 7pm to measure my living room etc to give quote, as mentioned I'd be working late, as blockpaver by trade, and sometimes late finishes, also my partner had a family emergency, catlin arrived at 5.30pm not a mention of the time he would be coming neither a message to say exactly when. I explained my situation to catlin and apologised for the inconvenience, the Very rude message I received from catlin was very unprofessional.
So I've been plumbing for around 8 years and do a vast majority of work including - First fixing Second fixing - Baths Showers Shower screens toilets Basin Vanity units And all other sanitary -I install boilers from combi boilers to heat only boilers -Vented cylinders to unvented cylinders -Bathroom installs from small ones to large ones .

Roger was friendly and professional in his approach and made a really good job of laying a laminate floor in my hallway and bathroom - which was really tricky with all the doorways to get around and the toilet/sink to cut around but nothing was too much trouble for him! However the damage incurred by the snow turned out to be less extensive than first thought and I did not need to proceed with this. Unfortunately on two occasions now Grant has agreed to attend a job and not shown up. After the first time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. It's a shame as he seems like a nice guy who does a good job, but if it's reliable you're after, I'd go elsewhere.

Rhodes builders were 1 of 10 companies who quoted on our extension. Josh was only 1 of 2 that we considered giving the job too. The other was similar on price, the other 7 or 8 either didn't provide prices, didn't bring a tape measure or simply didn't follow up when they said that they would. Josh was reliable, arrived on time, when he said he would & from the first day to the last did everything that he said he would. A small company, Josh had 3 other people working with him. We're very happy. Excellent.
I've been in business for nearly 15 years. Starting off as a plasterer, I enhanced my skills and now work as a property developer. All the team are experienced/qualified and insured. Tickets are supplied where required e.g. gas, electrics etc.

Leon managed the Garage Conversion very well and he was able to bring in the trades at the right time to ensure the project completed on time. He kept us informed of progress at all times. I was impressed by Leon's ability to problem solve and overcome challenges not foreseen at the outset. Eg electric cables in unexpected places. Leon is very reliable, polite and cheerful.
